Funeral service 3:30PM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Byars and Bro. Jimmy Oliver officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Selected as pallbearers are Johnny Marrs, Will Marrs, Josh Stout, Matthew Hamilton, Brad Paschall and Jeremy Freeland. Jimmy Witherspoon and Carl Tanner will be honorary pallbearers. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Thursday and after 10:00AM Friday. She was born in Memphis to the late Russell C. "Jinx" and Ollie C. Sides Rodgers. On October 2, 1961 she married Duroy "Roy" Cole, he survives, Paris. Survived by daughters: Linda (Jimmy) Witherspoon and Deborah (Carl) Tanner both of Paris; sister: Margie Carpenter, New Concord, KY; grandchildren: Johnny and Will Marrs, Catherine Cole, Josh and Carla Stout, Vicky Bradley, Jimmy and Austin Witherspoon; twelve great-grandchildren; niece: Tereasa (John Shaw) Newton, New Concord, Ky. Ten other brothers and sisters preceded. Mrs. Cole was a longtime member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church of Hazel, Ky. She was a homemaker, a wonderful mother and grandmother.
