Shirley Jean Ray, age 87 of Paris, TN passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023, at AHC of Paris. No services are scheduled at this time. Shirley Jean Ray was born July 19, 1936, in Henry County, TN to the late Horace Stephenson and the late Lavetrice Redmon Stephenson. On April 1, 1964, she married William Harold Ray and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2017. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Cyndi Ray (Jon) Hollman of Colorado Springs, CO; two sons: Jerry Wayne (Shelley) Blessing of Spring Branch, TX, and Stephen David (Felicia) Blessing of Frisco, TX; grandchildren: Jackie Blessing (Matt) Terry, David Wayne Blessing, William Hayden Hollman, Kylie Blessing, and Avery Blessing; great-grandchildren: Brayden Elijah Layne and Savannah Rose Terry; cousin, Peggy Burdin Wimberley; and several nieces, and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Shirley was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Stephenson Webb.
