Shirley York, age 79 of Paris, TN, passed away Sunday November 8, 2015 at Paris Healthcare Center in Paris. There will be a graveside memorial service at 11:00AM Saturday November 14, 2015 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Gary Collier and Alan Trull officiating. No visitation is scheduled. She was born in Henry County, TN to the late William H. "Jerry" and Kennie Mae Sykes Bucy. On May 9, 1981 she married Monte York, he survives, Paris, TN. Survived by daughters: Kelly Buffington (Shannon) Gardner, Ashland, MO, Melody (Shane) Heath, Paris, TN; sister: Bobbie Brown, Paris; brother: Lyle Bucy, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Logan Gardner, Brady Heath, Sidney Heath and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by a son: Jerry Buffington; brothers: Len Bucy, Leon Bucy, Milton Bucy, Billy Bucy and James Bucy. Mrs. York retired from Atlantic Homes after more than 25 years of service.
