Sidney Pat Callicott McConkey, age 65 of Cottage Grove, TN passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at her residence. Her body is to be cremated and a celebration of her life will be planned for a later date. Pat McConkey was born August 25, 1958, in Paris, TN to the late Robert "Buddy" Callicott and the late Martha Nell Ross Callicott. She married Samuel Alan McConkey on March 10, 1979, and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2019. Pat was a member of Cottage Grove United Methodist Church. She was a Vols fan, especially basketball and football. She loved her family, was a people person, and never met a stranger. She is survived by two sons: Ian McConkey of Sweetwater, TN, and Ross (Dora Klink) McConkey of Forest Park, IL; sister, Vicki Mabe of Duncan, SC; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides her parents and husband, Pat was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Doug Mabe.
