Stanley A. Powell, age 62 of Paris, TN passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, at his residence. His funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 20, 2022, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Bud Merwin officiating. Burial will follow at VanDyke Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Sunday prior to the service at McEvoy Funeral Home. Pallbearers for Mr. Powell will be Justin Marsh, Rodney Marsh, Caleb Dunn, Jeremy Clark, Michael Parker, and Will Burgess. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerome Merwin, Lee Whitehead, Kirk Luttrell, and Bob Page. Stanley A. Powell was born June 29, 1959, in Barnesville, OH to the late Stanley Adam Powell and the late Carol Hope Keylor Powell. Stan retired from TWRA and enjoyed taking care of River Run Farms. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and looking for Indian artifacts. Stan is survived by his wife, Shirlene Luttrell Powell; two sons: Adam (Ashlee) Powell and Josh Powell both of Springville, TN; grandson, Parker Thomas Powell; sister, Shannon Kemp of Nashville, TN; brother, Paul Earl Powell of Clarksville, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Memorials may be made in the honor of Stanley A. Powell to the charity of the donors' choice. Besides his parents, Stan was also preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Powell.
