Funeral service 10:00AM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Carlton Gerrell of TVCC officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Ben Bomar, Austin French, Houston Forsythe, Jeffery Marshall, Brent Brewer and Jesse Nolan. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Wednesday and after 9:00AM Thursday. He is survived by his father: Bill Rushing, Mt. Vernon, IN; grandparents: Pam and Dale Hastings, Paris, TN; sister: Brittany Rushing, Mt. Vernon, IN; brother: Adam Rushing, Mt. Vernon, IN; half-brother: Ben Taylor, Henry County, TN, he also is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends. He was preceded by his mother: Christine Ann Potirala, November 1, 2006. Steven attended TVCC, was an Eagle Scout of Troop 28 in Paris, member of Henry County Cross Country, avid outdoorsman including fishing, hunting and four wheeling.
