Funeral service for Mrs. Clayton will be Thursday 1:00 PM at the Bible Union Baptist Church between Dresden and Martin, TN, with Bro. Terry Griffin officiating, burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery in Henry County. Named as Pallbearers are: Tommy Rockett, Jimmy Rockett, James Redden, Tommy Babb, Dalton Redden and Jerry Redden. Visitation 5:00 - 8:00 Wednesday at the Funeral Home and after 10:00 AM Thursday at the Church. Sue was born March 27, 1927 in Henry County, Tennesse to the late Jesse Dalton and Mattie Redden. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by husband: Pat Rowland; husband: J.D. Clayton; sister: Blanche Redden; brothers: Glen, Lloyd, Doris, Joe, Neal, Wayne and Clark Redden. She was a member of the Bible Union Baptist Church and the YMCA. She had formerly worked at the Murray State University Library.
