Sue Jackson Fuqua, age 80, of Paris, TN, passed away Tuesday May 24, 2016 at Paris Healthcare Center in Paris. Funeral service 2:00PM Thursday, May 26, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Corey Sawyers of East Wood Church of Christ officiating, burial will follow at Walker Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Justin Barnett, Abbey Barnett, Jake Edwards, Will Barnett, Megan Fuqua, and Jessica Edwards. Jeremiah Rich will serve as honorary pallbearer. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Wednesday and after 12:00PM Thursday. She was born in Henry County, TN to the late Dorris S. and Opal P. Coleman Jackson. On December 6, 1953 she married Jerry Fuqua, he survives, Paris, TN. Survived by daughters: Joan Barnett, Paris, TN, Julie (Tim) Edwards, Paris, TN; son: Jack (Joyce) Fuqua, Big Sandy, TN; grandchildren: Jeremiah (Lourdes) Rich, Justin (Hannah) Barnett, Abbey Barnett, Jake Edwards, Will Barnett, Megan Fuqua, Jessica (Chris Berry) Edward; great-grandchildren: nine; brothers: Glenn (Fredda) Jackson, Puryear, TN, Bennie (Wanda) Jackson, Murray, KY, Don (Lavelle) Jackson, Paris, TN and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by a brother: Ralph Jackson. Sue was a member of the East Wood Church of Christ and had retired from Union Planters Bank. She dedicated her life to her family and loved to cook.
