Sue Harding Wilson age 80 of Nashville formerly of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Friday September 15, 2017 at NHC at the Trace in Nashville. Her funeral will be held Sunday 3:00 P.M. graveside at Maplewood Cemetery in Paris, TN with Rev. Randy Cooper, First United Methodist Church in Martin, Tennessee officiating and burial to follow. Visitation is scheduled at McEvoy Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 until 2:30 P.M. prior to the service. Serving as pallbearers are: Paul Wilson, Matt Wilson, Nick Kocher, Blair Kocher, Chris Harding and Andy Harding. Mrs. Wilson was born on July 30, 1937 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Harold and Louise Harding (formerly of Cottage Grove, TN). She married Bobby Ray Wilson on January 19, 1962 and he preceded her in death March 5, 2017. Sue is survived by her son: David Allen (Stace) Wilson of Fairview, Tennessee; her grandchildren: Paul Wilson, Matt Wilson, Nick Kocher, and Blair Kocher; sister: Anne Harding (Fred) Morris of DeSoto, Texas; brothers: Charles (Marita) Harding of Martin, Tennessee, John (Linda Lu) Harding of Union City, Tennessee, and Joseph (Jane) Harding of Janesville, Wisconsin. Mrs. Wilson is also preceded in death by her daughter: Judith Wilson Thomason and her sister: Mary Harding. Mrs. Wilson was educated in Cottage Grove, Tennessee and at Murray State University. She spent the majority of her life in Memphis and Germantown, TN where she worked as a bookkeeper at The American Finishing Company and at Memphis Furniture Company. For some years, she was in charge of meal planning and food preparation for activities at Germantown Baptist Church, where she was a member. She owned and operated a small day-care center and finally completed her work years as a bookkeeper for her late husbands company, Bobby Wilson and Associates.
