Sue Lowery Witherspoon, age 85 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Henry County Health Care Center. Her body is to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. Sue Witherspoon was born October 10, 1938 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Dewey Lowery and the late Maude Sanders Lowery. She married Robert "Bob" Witherspoon July 1, 1955 and he preceded her in death October 4, 2003. Sue is survived by her daughter, Janice Buckle of Henry; son, Terry (Jackie) Witherspoon of Paris; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Ms. Witherspoon is also preceded in death by sons, David, James, and Robert Witherspoon; sisters, Margaret Brown and Peggy Carlene Marcum; and by brother, John Calvin Lowery.
