Sylvia A. Dunkerson, age 81, of Paris, TN, passed away Saturday May 21, 2016 at Benchmark Healthcare of Puryear, TN. Graveside service 1:00PM Sunday May 29, 2016 at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg, Arkansas with Mark Weston officiating. No visitation is scheduled. She was born September 26, 1934 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to the late George and Agnes Lillian Ellzey Deckelman. On November 3, 1951 she married A.C. Dunkerson, he survives, Paris, TN. Survived by a son: Mike (Betty) Dunkerson, Paris, TN; brothers: Donnie (Eva) Deckelman, Atwood, TN; grandchildren: Carly (Adam) Parke, Kelsey (Jeremy) Blanchard; great-grandchildren: Millie Lane Parke and Maxwell Brendan Parke, and brother-in-law: Roy Webb, Millington, TN. Preceded by sisters: Mary Thompson, Laverne Rush, Joy Webb; brothers: Dude Deckelman, Bud Deckelman and Bob Deckelman. Mrs. Dunkerson was a member of the Church of Christ. She dedicated her life to her family and was known for her cooking.
