Funeral service 11:00AM Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Rev. Cory Glover officiating, burial will follow at Bevil Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Jason McClain, Tommy Davis, Tom Morrison, Jake Greene, Tyler McKee and Brian Barron. Visitation 10:00AM until service time Tuesday. He was born in Nashville, TN to the late Ted M. Sliger, Sr. and Fannie Mae Stafford Sliger. On August 1, 1954 he married Shirley Melton Sliger, she survives in Paris. Survived by a half-brother: Johnny Sullivan, Michigan. Preceded by a sister: Carolyn Jean Sliger Maddox; four half-brothers: Harold Sliger, Alfred Sliger, Elmer Sullivan and Roy Sullivan and his mother-in-law: Katie S. Melton. Mr. Sliger was a Methodist by faith. Ted was a operating engineer-union affiliated with the Indiana Local 841 for 50 years.
