Teresa Joyce Taylor Parker, age 74 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Diversicare of Martin. Her graveside funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Bethesda Cemetery with Bro. Mike Rhodes officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers and burial will follow the service. Visitation is scheduled after 11:00 A.M. on Sunday until time to leave for the graveside service. Teresa Joyce Taylor Parker was born January 18, 1948, in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late D.D. Taylor and the late Louise Barnett Taylor. She is also preceded in death by her stepmother, Earline Taylor. Teresa married Clayton Parker in 1965 and he preceded her in death on March 9, 2003. Mrs. Parker is survived by her daughter, Jamie Parker of California; sisters, Beth (Doug) Taylor of Puryear, Sylvia (Sid) Vinson of Erin, and Phyllis (David) Taylor of Paris; brothers, Wayne Dill of Paris, Jimmy (June) Taylor of McKenzie, and Douglas (Lisa) Taylor of Buchanan; grandchildren, Jalee Boane and Keely Boane; also by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other family members. Mrs. Parker was a former hairdresser who also worked at Midland Brake and Pella Windows. She attended Puryear Baptist Church.
