Terry Wayne Hart, age 79, of Paris, Tennessee passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Henry County Medical Center ER. His funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 30, 2021 at McEvoy Funeral Home with his grandson John Austin Hart and his son Jason Hart to officiate. Burial will follow the service in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled at McEvoy on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. and on Friday after 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Terry Wayne Hart was born October 12, 1941 in Cottage Grove, Tennessee to the late Vance W. Hart and the late Alva G. Simpson. He married Patty Leckie Hart on November 23, 1962 and she survives in Paris. Wayne is also survived by his sons, Jason (Jennifer) Hart of Harrison, Arkansas and Keith (Julie) Hart of Spring, Texas; grandchildren, John Austin, AnnaGrace, Ava Beth, Daniel, Micah and Jaycee Hart; sisters, Janice (Herman) Jackson of Paris and Wynell Lewis of Alexandria, Virginia; also by his inlaws, Wanda and Mackie Gallimore of Puryear, Glenn Leckie of Murray; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. Besides his parents, Wayne is also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Kay Boadway; and brothers, Vance Alfred Hart, Lon A. Hart and Mike Hart. Mr. Hart was a longtime, active member of East Wood Church of Christ and of the Paris Rotary Club. Wayne coached Little League and Babe Ruth baseball in Henry County for countless seasons. He was the owner of Bon Ton Cleaners for many years where he took great joy in helping people look their best. After retiring from the cleaners, Wayne still stayed busy doing many alterations. He truly loved his family and was so proud of his grandchildren. Pallbearers for Mr. Hart will be John Austin Hart, Russ Hart, Micah Hart, Cameron Hart, Lavelle Davidson and Jimmy Alton.
