Visitation 10:00AM - 1:00PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Survived by his mother: Marilyn Kendall, Buchanan; first wife: Cloyce E. Tanner, Nashville; daughter: Diana Michelle Fields, Clarksville; sons: Brandon L. Tanner, Paris, Rocky G. (Pam) Tanner, Clarksville, Charles Tanner, TN; sisters: Elane Hart, Beach Bluff, Veronica (Johnny) Lickert, Paris, Tiffany (Jeff) Valentine, Paris; grandchildren: Dean Tanner, Bryce Fields, J.D. Burris, Jensen Burris and several other step-grandchildren. Preceded by his father: Clifford Eugene Tanner; wife: Pamela Burris-2008 and a brother: Jackie Davidson. Mr. Tanner served six years in the Army as an infantry soldier and was stationed in Germany a portion of that time. He worked for port authority prior to being disabled. He was a Baptist by faith.
