Funeral service 1:00PM Monday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Corey Cain of Maplewood Baptist Church and Bro. Paul Veazey officiating, burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Snider, Larry Snider, Lloyd Lewis, Gary Morris, Nick Morris and Ray Lewis. Visitation 3:00 - 7:00PM Sunday and after 10:00AM Monday. Born in Paris, he was the son of Louise Marshall Travis of Paris and the late James Edward Travis. Survived by his wife: Norma Snider Travis, Paris; daughters: Julie Travis, Paris, Jennifer (Jeff) Gean, Columbia, TN; grandchildren: Jessica and Natalie Gean; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Terry was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. He had worked at Celotex until the plant closed in 1985 and had continued his working career as a guard up until his death, he was a member of the National Guard for 6 years. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, farming and raising cattle.
