Funeral services for Texas Texie Bell Lawrence, age 79, of McKenzie, TN, formerly of Paris, TN will be conducted on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Old Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. on Monday until service time. Mrs. Lawrence is survived by sisters; Wilmadell (Richard) Tanner, Paris, TN, Mildred Carleen (J.D.) Wilson, Paris, TN, Helen (Edward) Malone, Henry, TN, Juana (Jerome) Matasu, FL, sisters in law; Eugene Lawrence, Martin, TN, Hilda Lawrence, Paris, TN, Sue Lawrence, McKenzie, TN, Louise Lawrence, Khan, MO, brother; Oswe (Betty) Lawrence, St. Charles, MO, brother in law; Lovelace Cate; Paris, TN. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Mrs. Lawrence is preceded by parents; Robert I and Lucy Mae Barham Lawrence, sisters; Jewel Bethrine Lemons, Alice Cate, brothers; James Howard Lawrence, Louis Flavel Lawrence, Jesse Franklin Lawrence, R.B. Lawrence, Lynn Gayle Lawrence. Mrs. Lawrence was home schooled, and had participated in the Easter Seal Program until recently and had formerly worked at the Hope Center in Huntingdon, TN.
