Funeral service 3:00PM Friday June 19, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Carlton Gerrell of TVCC officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation 11:00 - 3:00PM Friday. Named as pallbearers are Johnny Petrie, Bobby Pierce, Mike Prince, Thomas "Bub" Edwards, Steve Looney and Albert Wade. She was born in Henry County, TN to the late Owen and Fleta Alexander Wade. On February 1, 1953 she married Gerald W. "Red" Pierce, he survives. Survived by a daughter: Connie Looney, Paris, TN; granddaughter: Sarah Looney, Louisville, KY; great-grandchildren: Trentin and Trey Williams, Simone, Suri and King Floyd. Preceded by a brother: Albert Wade, Sr. Thelma was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
