Thomas Eugene "Tom" Denton, age 61 of Paris, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. His funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Roberts officiating. Visitation will be at McEvoy Funeral Home after 11:00 AM on Saturday, prior to the service at 1:00 PM.

Thomas Eugene Denton was born on March 26, 1964, to the late Everette Eugene "Gene" and Anna "Sue" Messer Denton. On July 27, 2002, he married Melanie Denton, who survives in Paris.

Tom loved God and enjoyed cornhole, boxing, music, and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Tom is also survived by daughters: Jessica Allen of Paris, Jacoby (Dustin) Riley of Bentonville, AR, and Jami Sipler of Arizona; sons: Brandon McEuen of Arkansas, and Justin Allen of Paris; sisters: Marsha (Gary) Rule, Catherine (Joe) Palloni, and Crystall Denton, all of Michigan, and Michelle Burkeen of Kentucky; brother, Eugene Mitchell of Corbin, KY; grandchildren: Zayden Gibbs, Kingsten Gibbs, Ansley Ovella, Ashyr Ovella, McKayle Sipler, and Tia Allen; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including Ani & DJ; Larry & Jeremy; Robert Brumfield; Taylor & Joe Clayton; Wendy & Gary; and Jason & Megan.

Besides his parents, Tom was also preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Carmichael, and a niece, Jennifer Rule.
