Timothy "Tim" Lax

Timothy “Tim” Lax, age 59, of Paris, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at McEvoy Funeral Home, conducted by Tommy Willis. Burial will follow the service in Memorial Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are, Chris Robertson, Dino Robertson, Joseph Robertson, Bobby Coe, Jamey Coe, and Michael Decker.

Visitation is planned on Wednesday, after 12:00 P.M. until time of the service.

Tim was born August 18, 1967 in Wyandotte, Michigan, to the late Robert Allen Lax and the late Eva Carolyn Richardson. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Sue Ann Lax of Washington, Pennsylvania; sisters, Sara Robertson-Moon (Mitch) of Paris and Cathy Lax of Puryear; sister-in-law and caregiver, Angelia Lax of Paris, and by special aunt, Patricia Thompson of Puryear.

Mr. Lax is also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Lax.

Tim loved animals and kids. He was a gentle giant who enjoyed watching “wrestling” and “COPS”.
