Retired Paris Landing Fire Department Lieutenant, Tony Powell, age 54, of Buchanan, died at his residence Tuesday May 5, 2015. His memorial service will be at 11:00AM Saturday, May 16th, at McEvoy Funeral Home, Gary S. Collier will officiate. Visitation 10:00AM until service time Saturday. Mr. Powell was born in Henry County, TN to Sammy Powell of Obion, TN and the late Linda Brewer Powell. He is survived by a daughter: Kristie Powell; sons: John (Renea Elkins) Powell, Buchanan, Daniel (Jessica) Powell, Praire Du Rocher, IL; sister: Wanda Powell, Troy; brothers: Timmy (Amanda) Powell, Obion, Danny Powell, Nashville, eleven grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Tony was a retired first responder from Henry County and throughout the years he volunteered his time at Henry County Medical Center.
