Mrs. Veda Mae Smith, age 66, of Roscommon, MI, formerly of Henry County, died at St. Mary's of Michigan, Saginaw, MI, on Saturday, July 7, 2007. A funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, July 10th at Roscommon, MI and a private graveside service was held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 12th, at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN. Her husband, Jerry Smith, preceded in 1997. They were the former owners and operators of Pleasant View Resort in Springville, TN.
