Funeral service 10:00AM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home, burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Thursday and after 9:00AM Friday. He was born in Henry County, TN to the late Curtis and Nell Hendrix. On November 1, 1968 he married Virginia Sturdivant Hendrix, she survives in Paris. Survived by a son Mike (Karen) Hendrix, Nashville; brother: Wayne (Diane) Hendrix, Cleveland, OH; grandchild: Keri (Ricky) Brookshire and great-grandchildren: Hannah and Jenna Brookshire. Preceded by a brother: James Hendrix. Mr. Hendrix attended First Baptist church in Paris where he was a member of the men's bible class. He was an avid fisherman.
