Funeral service 2:00PM Saturday January 24, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Allison officiating, entombment will follow at Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation beginning at 12:30PM Saturday until time of service. He was born in Henry County to the late Lemuel and Mae Medlock Richardson. On December 21, 1946 he married Maurine Hopkins Richardson, she preceded April 6, 2008. Survived by a daughter: Barb (Tim) Lichtenstein, Carol Stream, IL; sons: Ron (Tootie) Richardson, Buchanan; daughter-in-law: Lillie Richardson, Plainfield, IL; sisters: Wilmadean (James) Bomar, Pulaski, Jane Warren, Paris, Jean Wells, TX; brother: Warren (Kay) Richardson, Paris; brother-in-law: David Arnold, Paris; grandchildren: Michael (Renea) Richardson, Scott Richardson (Kim Fortner), Luke (Jamie) Richardson, Brad (Meredith) Richardson, Eric (Ashley) Richardson, Ryan Lichtenstein, T.J. Lichtenstein; great-grandchildren: Oliver Richardson, Lewis Richardson and Lottie Richardson. Preceded by a son: Jim Richardson, May 8, 2009; sister: Saline Arnold; brothers: Kenneth Richardson, Harwell Richardson and Basil Richardson. He was a member of Local 70l Auto Body Tech for 50 years and he was a WWII veteran who was a tank operator in the Battle of the Bulge under General Patton.
