Vetrice Sparks French, age 85, of Paris, TN passed away Tuesday July 12, 2016 at Paris Healthcare & Rehab, Paris, TN. There will be a graveside service 10:00AM Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Van Dyke Grove Cemetery with Dr. John Smith of Fairview Baptist Church officiating. Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers. No visitation is scheduled. She was born July 31, 1930 in Benton County, TN to the late William T. and Aquilla McClain Sparks. On December 4, 1948 she married Leslie French, he preceded September 28, 2011. Survived by a daughter: Justine Akers, Paris, TN; son: Lester (Nancy) French, Paris, TN; son-in-law: Don Speight, Somerset, KY; grandchildren: Daron Speight, Charlotte, NC, Adam (Bobbi Jo) French, Henry, TN, Amanda (Glenn) Belcher, Somerset, KY; great-grandchildren: Cody French, Hunter French, Garrett French, Bailey French, Dekan Belcher, Kaylie Belcher; niece: Kathy (Grover) Lusk, Camden, TN; nephew: Bobby Sparks, Camden, TN.
