Vickie Renae Cole Taylor, age 56 of Paris passed away Monday, September 9, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, September 13, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bishop Taylor of the Church of the Living God, Temple #4 in Texarkana officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at McEvoy Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday, September 12, 2019 and after 10:00 AM Friday prior to the service. Vickie Renae Cole Taylor was born February 11, 1963 in Paris to Harold Cole of Henry and Anna (Danny Swegman) Vaughn of Paris. On May 16, 1998 she married Mitchell Taylor and he survives in Paris. She is also survived by a daughter, Elyzabeth Renee Taylor of Paris; one brother, Dennis (Sue) Cole of Phoenix, AZ; a mother-in-law, Zora M. Sanders of Murray, KY; and uncles, friends and other family members. Mrs. Taylor worked at Henry County Medical Center for 34 years. She was a Christian by faith who enjoyed the outdoors particularly going to the lake. Vickie loved people and was known to reach out and help others.
