Funeral service 2:00PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. James Smith of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church officiating, burial will follow at Elkhorn Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Friday and after 10:00AM Saturday. He was born in the Elkhorn Community of Henry County to the late Gus Washington and Mattie Kendall Easley. On January 9, 1954 he married Gladys Peale Easley, she preceded February 27, 2013. Survived by a daughter: Joy Rose (George) Drye, Elkhorn, TN. Mr. Easley was a member of the Poplar Grove United Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer. Virgil was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed working in his garden and hunting.
