Mr. Virgil E. Punke, age 76 of Springville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Henry County Medical Center. A celebration of life is planned for family and close friends, 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at his residence. Virgil Punke was born September 8, 1945 in Bloomington, Illinois to the late Clarence Punke and the late Grace Gordon Punke. He married Diana Saville Punke on December 26, 1998 and she survives in Springville, Tennessee. He is also survived by a brother, Herman (Oledo) Punke; sister-in-law, Violet Heller; six children and their spouses; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends. Mr. Punke was a Christian by faith. He enjoyed old and vintage cars. Virgil loved to feed and watch the birds. He was a people person who liked to meet and talk with folks.
