Virginia Hughes Cleary, age 81 of Springville, TN, passed away Friday at her residence. Funeral service 2:00PM Sunday, March 13, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Gary Collier officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Family and friends will service as pallbearers. Visitation: 4:00 - 7:00PM Saturday March 12, 2016 and after 12:00PM Sunday. She was born September 13, 1934 in McNairy County, TN to the late Alvin Stenson Hughes and Nola Gertrude Taylor Hughes. On June 11, 1950 she married James F. Cleary, he survives, Springville, TN. Survived by grandchildren: James Gene "Jimmy" Cleary, Lyons, IL, Kelly Lynn Cleary, Villa Park, IL; great-grandchildren: four; sisters: Barbara (Carl) Simmons, Lexington, TN, Patricia (Danny) Cleek, Memphis, TN, Deborah (Ricky) Austin, Humboldt, TN; brothers: Charles (Susie) Hughes, Gadsden, TN, Phillip (Martha) Hughes, Eva, TN; special niece: Theresa Simmons-Jones, Lowell, IN. Preceded by sons: James "Jim" Cleary, preceded 2001, Terry Lynn Cleary, preceded 2007; sister: Wanda Kay Hughes, preceded 2012; brothers: Alvin "Junior" Hughes and Jerry Hughes.
