Funeral service 1:30PM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Claytus Wilson officiating, burial will follow at Bird's Creek Cemetery. Visitation 11:00 - 1:30PM Thursday prior to the service. She was born in Henry County to the late Grover C. and Hettie Butler Wilson. On February 9, 1944 she married Bruce E. Evans, he preceded May 10, 2009. Survived by a sister: Juanita Ross, Whitlock; nieces: Rita (Myron) Berry, Bowling Green, KY, Pam (Kenneth) Bennett, Franklin. Preceded by a son: Michael B. Evans; sister: Ethelene Odom; brother: G.C. Wilson; brother-in-law: Jr. Ross; nieces: Kay Wade and Rue Jean Wilson Jenquin. Nephew: Frederick Wade, Whitlock, TN. Mrs. Evans was a member of the Whitlock Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Puryear High School and had worked at Fruehauf Trailer for almost 30 years.
