Mrs. Virginia Maly, age 91 of Paris, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at her residence. Her body is to be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. Virginia Johnson Maly was born on December 17, 1925 to the late Burl Johnson and the late Nettie Hughes Johnson. On September 27, 1962, she married James Maly and he preceded her in death on March 19, 1993. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Amick and Joyce Sills; three brothers Owen, Arthur, and Howard Johnson; and one great grandchild. Mrs. Virginia Maly is survived by three daughters, Carol Roberts of Michigan City, IN, Jan (Bryan) Wilson of Paris, TN, and Jennifer (Sandy) Minnis of Springville, TN; two sons, Robert (Mattie) Strouss of Alma, AR and John Strouss of Mt. Holly, NC; one sister, Roberta Johnson of Denver, CO; three brothers, Lonis Johnson of Pontotoc, MS, Glen (Mary) Johnson of West Virginia, and Robert Johnson of Van Buren, AR; nine grandchildren; Eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
