Ward Gaylor Dougherty, age 76 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Monday, August 1, 2018 at the Life Care Center of Bruceton. His funeral service will be conducted at McEvoy Funeral Home on Sunday, August 5th at 2:00 P.M. Visitation for Mr. Dougherty will be at McEvoy Funeral Home from 2:00 until 6:00 P.M. Saturday and after 1:00 P.M. Sunday prior to the service. Mr. Daugherty is survived by his daughter: Kim Pike of Dyersburg, TN; sons: David (Sheila) Dougherty of Paris, TN, Gene (Christy) Dougherty of Bruceton, TN, Tim (Heather) Rhodes of Pleasant Hill, MO, and James (Laura) Daugherty of Buchanan, TN; sister: Elizabeth Dougherty (Robert) Dickinson; nephew: Bill (Dawn) Emmons of Bruceton, TN; special friend: Barbara Dougherty of Paris, TN. Ward is preceded by his parents: Henry Ward Dougherty and Sarah Gaylor Dougherty; son: Michal Todd Dougherty; and niece: Julie Foshee.
