Wayne H. Hastings, age 93, Memphis, TN, formerly of Henry County,died in Bartlett, TN on October 22, 2009. A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00 PM October 26, 2009. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM on October 26th at McEvoy Funeral Home. He was preceded by his wife, Margaret Nored Hastings, December 24, 1940. He is survived by a daughter-in-law, July Hastings, son, Dale (Harrietta) Hastings and preceded by a son, Dr. Robert Hastings. Three grandchilden, Robert W. (Leigh Ann) Hastings, Scott (Amber) Hastings and Laney Hastings and one great-grandchild, Thomas Wayne Hastings. Mr. Hastings retired from L & N Railroad.
