Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Henry Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00 Sunday and after 9:00 Monday. He is survived by his wife: Patricia Ann Bevill Bowers,Henry, TN, daughter: Tammy (Barry) Revel, Henry, TN, sisters: Rebecca (James) Aldridge, McKenzie, TN, Willie Ruth (Jerry) Miller, McKenzie, TN, Judy (Mike) Moore, Michie, TN, brother: Bobby C. (Jettie) Bowers, McKenzie, TN, grandchild: Scott D. Carroll, Henry, TN, step-grandchildren: Justin and Josh Revel both of Henry, TN, also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Preceded by his parents: Weldon A and Mary Elizabeth Dunlap Bowers. He attended the Baptist Church. A graduate of Henry High School. He was a Livestock Dealer most of his life and had served in the Tennessee National Guard.
