Mrs. Wilda Jones Collins, age 86 of Paris passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her residence. Her celebration of life will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Como Church of Christ with Bro. Rex Buford officiating. Wilda Jones Collins was born March 22, 1931 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Ennis Green Jones and the late Emmie Snow Lankford Jones. On November 21, 1947 she married James W. Collins who preceded her in death on April 29, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her daughter: Christie Elaine Collins in 1963; her son: Lt. Col. James "Jim" William Collins Jr. on April 17, 2017; three sisters: Nell Roser, Virginia Hodgins, and Helen Chris Siemski; and two brothers: Ennis T. Jones and James Paul Jones. Mrs. Collins is survived by a daughter-in-law: Jacqueline Denise Cannon Collins; two grandchildren: Christy Collins (James Jones) and James Jared Collins (Heather); one great grandchild: Westley E. Collins; one brother: Sam O. Jones (Mary); and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Wilda Collins was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and a friend to all she knew. SERVICES Celebration of Life
