Wilda Catherine Muzzall Martin, age 95, passed away at Rose Stone Retirement Community in Paris on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Her funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Pastor Emily Walker of Bethesda United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow the service in Memorial Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are David Todd, Philip Todd, Kenneth Brown, Jerry Muzzall, Jesse Evans, and Larry Woodard. Visitation is scheduled on Sunday after 2:00 P.M. until time of service at McEvoy. Wilda Muzzall Martin was born January 16, 1924 in Big Sandy, Tennessee to the late Otis Edgar Muzzall and the late Mary Arvin Herndon Muzzall. She married Roy Franklin Martin on November 9, 1958 and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2006. She is survived by several cousins and longtime devoted friend, Judie Todd Miller. Mrs. Martin was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris. She was a 1942 graduate of E.W. Grove High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. Wilda was employed by the office of Price Administration Rationing Board during WWII. She worked with Union Insurance Company in Paris from 1945 until 1975 when the company was sold to Balch and Reynolds Agency. Funeral Service McEvoy Funeral Home, Inc.
