Mr. William Bill Belt, age 82, of Paris, TN, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Paris Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at McEvoy Funeral Home, Dr. John Smith, Fairview Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Ramble Creek Cemetery, Big Sandy, TN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. until service time. Lindsay Dillon, Matthew Belt, Jeremy Kelley, Russell Wade, Brad Wade and Jerin Fautt will serve as pallbearers. Katie Mattingly, Brian Agle and Jennifer Cullen will be honorary pallbearers. Bill was married to Norma Mattingly Belt, who preceded him death on April, 20 1986. Mr. Belt re married to Betty Williams Belt on February 18, 1989 who survives. Mr. Belt is also survived by daughters; Judy (Terry) Moon, Paris, TN, Barbara (Rickey) Kelly) Williamsport, TN, Opal (Teddy) Wade, Paris, TN, sons; Rick (Sue) Belt, Flint, MI, Chris Hamilton, Paris, TN, sisters; Helen Knapp, Mt. Carmel, IL, Ellsie Coleman, Flint, MI, brother; Robert (Dortha) Belt, FL, grandchildren; Lindsay (Mike) Dillon, Matthew Belt, Jeremy Kelley, Russell Wade, Brad Wade, Christy Fautt, great grandchildren; Grayson Dillon, Jerin Fautt. Bill is preceded by parents; Earl and Ella McCarmick belt, daughter; Earlene Belt, sister; Mary Sullivan and brother; Leroy Belt Mr. Belt was an active member of Fairview Baptist Church and had retired from General Motors in Michigan.
