William D. "Dale" Clayton age 68 of Paris, TN passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday February 20, 2017 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Collins of Henry New Life Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled after 11:00 A.M. on Monday prior to his service. Pallbearers will be Rick Parker, Jerald Brown, Danny Joe Buie, Joseph Robertson, Ricky Moon, Tex Covey, Mike Grogan, and Codie Archie. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dave Langford, Daniel Clayton and Mitch Moon. He was born February 7, 1949 in Henry County, TN to the late Wallace J. and Dorothy Mae Nimmo Clayton. Survived by a daughter: Amy Cooper, Paris, TN; son: William "Billy" Dale Clayton, Paris, TN; sisters: Mary Ann Taylor, Paris, TN, Sarah Joyce (Harold) Richard, Moulton, AL; grandchildren: Joseph Robertson, Daniel Clayton; one niece and nephew, great nieces, great nephews, and three great great nieces. Preceded by a grandchild: Dawn Freeland and a nephew: Mark Richard.
