Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Monday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Cotton, Jared Cotton, Greg Cotton, Alton Cotton, Robert Holcomb and Horace Holcomb. Visitation 12:00-2:00 P.M. Monday at McEvoy Funeral Home prior to service at 2:00 P.M. He was born in Perry County, TN to the late William Archo Cotton and Edna Parnell Cotton. On September 4, 1955 he married Joanne Madden who survives in Paris, TN. He is also survived by daughter, Pamela Cotton, Paris, TN; Sons, Wayne (Nina) Cotton, Paris, TN and Greg Cotton, Paris, TN; Sister, Juanita Freeland, Paris, TN; grandson, Jared Cotton. Preceded by a brother, Alton B. Cotton, Sr. Bill was a Christian by faith. He attended Bethesda United Methodist Church as well as Fairview Baptist Church. He formerly worked and retired from Midland Brake.
