William Anthony Dub Jackson, age 86, of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Henry County Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. with a Masonic service to be held at 7:00 p.m.
Dub is survived by his wife Joy Love McRee Jackson. They were married on December 20, 1966.
Dub is also survived by a sister; Wanda (David) Townsend, Paris, TN, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Jackson is preceded by parents; Anthony and Myrtle Flanagan Jackson, brother; Henry Franklin Bull Dog Jackson
Dub owned and operated Jacksons Used Cars, and also worked as a mechanic and in auto body repair. Dub was well known for his ability to repair golf cart, and was an avid golfer, devoted husband and loved his family. Dub was a member of the Paris Masonic Lodge and a Baptist by faith.
