Former tour bus driver, for over 20 years, William "Bill" Magee, 67, died Sunday, April 5, 2015, at Henry County Healthcare Center.
A memorial service will be at 1:00PM Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Replogle Chapel located on Lumber Road in Henry, TN.
Magee was born February 12, 1948, in Boston, MA, to the late Charles Magee and Patricia Dunne Boyd.
He was married February 25, 1986, to Brenda Gwinn Magee, she survives in Paris.
Bill was a Catholic by faith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam era.
He was known as the "Count of Disco" when he worked as a DJ for radio and night clubs and he enjoyed playing pool.
He is survived by a daughter: Felicia Harguess, Willcox, AZ; sons: John Charles (Rusmira) Magee, Butzbach, Germany, Robin (Christine) Hampton, Oregon, WI, Robert (Molly) Hampton, Prairie Du Sac, WI; sisters: Helen Kennedy, MA, Katherine Taylor, MA, Ada Foret, MA, Barbara Boyde, MA; sister-in-law: Chong Ok "Mona" Gwinn, Paris; brothers: Keven O'Donnell, MA, James Boyd, MA; brother-in-law: Russell Mathenie, Paris; grandchildren: John Preston Magee, Lucas Charles Magee both of Germany; step-grandchildren: Derick Harguess, Jared Hampton, Mischa Hampton; mother-in-law: Maudean Mathenie, Paris; special caregiver: Joann Niswonger, Paris and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded by several aunts and uncles.
