William "Larry" Parrish

William “Larry” Parrish, age 76, of Henry, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Henry, TN, with Joe Eaton, Kevin Gallimore, and John Sutton officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, October 29th, at McEvoy Funeral Home, and will resume on Friday after 10:00 AM at Bethlehem Baptist Church until the 1:00 PM service. Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Zach Carper, Tyler Webb, Jerry Stallions, Jr., Jerry Stallions, III, Ryan Parrish, Coltin Bailey, Josh Parrish, Jared Fenstermaker, and Jody Odle.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrea Stallions, Bethany “Jupiter” Bailey, Ezra Carper, Lane Carper, Laura Carper, Jaelyn Wilson, Kami Parrish, Taylor Bailey, Aspen Fenstermaker, Raven Stallions, Branson Bailey, and Navy Jo Parrish.

William Larry Parrish was born April 15, 1950, in Detroit, MI, to the late Coarm and Ernestine Holland Parrish. On October 18, 1968, he married Carol Nanney Parrish, who survives in Henry, TN.

Larry was a Christian. He loved his God, his Church, and his family. He was a member and deacon at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Henry. He was a die-hard NASCAR and dirt-track race fan, and he loved to travel. Larry retired from Champion Mobile Homes after 30 years of service.

In addition to his wife, Larry is also survived by his daughters: Kristen Carper (Jerry Stallions, Jr.) and Amanda Parrish Bailey, all of Henry; and her son Ryan Parrish of Paris; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Besides his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by his daughter, Carol “Renae” Parrish; son, Darrin Parrish; and brother, Ronald Ray Parrish.
