William Clay "Tony" Pierce Jr. age 63 of Olive Branch, Mississippi passed away at his home on January 28th, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Pamela Currie Pierce, his sons Nicholas Alan Pierce of Nashville, Tennessee and Matthew Ryan Currie and wife Josie along with two granddaughters Grayson Rylee and Greer Nicole of Lakeland, Tennessee. He is also survived by his mother, Wilma Jean Hall of Memphis, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, William Clay "Tony" Pierce Sr. of Paris, Tennessee. Tony was a graduate of State Technical Institute of Memphis with a degree in accounting. From there he went to work at Standard Auto Parts, a division of NAPA. He then moved on to AirHost, Inc. where he also served as an accountant from 1978 through 2011. Since then he worked as a certified gun instructor at both Rangemaster and Bass Pro Shops in Memphis, Tennessee where he made many friends. His smile and joking manner endeared him to many that will surely share in our feelings of loss. Visitation will be held at Coleman Funeral Home in Olive Branch, Mississippi on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. with memorial service to follow. He will be buried alongside family Saturday morning at 10 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Paris, Tennessee, his birthplace.
