William "Sonny" Webb, age 82 of Paris passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Diversicare of Martin. His funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 6, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Otis Hinton and Bro. Mike Burney officiating. Burial will follow at Bevil Cemetery. Visitation will be at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, February 5, 2020 and after 12:00 PM Thursday until service time. William E. "Sonny" Webb was born April 30, 1937 in Paris, Tennessee to the late John Edgar Webb and the late Goldie Marie Sanders Webb. On September 12, 1955 he married Twila Mae Biddle Webb and she preceded him in death on November 8, 1998. Mr. Webb is survived by two sons: William "Junior" (Janice) Webb and David (Mary) Webb all of Paris; seven grandchildren: Nicholas (Hollie) Webb, Kristy (Ian) Glover, Jason Webb, Chloe Webb, Marie (Jessie) Eaton, Crystal Roberts, and Bryan Roberts; nine great grandchildren: Zachary Webb, Brenden Webb, Courtney Webb, Landen Ping, Robert Allen Eaton, Alex Eaton, Alyssa Eaton, Kaylee Roberts, and Kristina Roberts; special friend, Judy Davidson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides his parents and wife, Mr. Webb was also preceded in death by two daughters: Susan Webb and Sharon Webb; one sister, Peggy Banks; and two brothers: James Webb and Billy Webb.
