Mr. William Franklin Winkle, age 69, of Paris, TN, died Monday, March 7, 2011 at Jackson Madison County Hospital. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial park with full Military Honors. Mr. Winkle is survived by daughters; Angela (Dack) Pickett, Paris, TN, Pamela Beach, OH, Brenda Bradford, OH, sisters; Carolyn Page, Bonnie Gray, Linda Cordy, Wanda Ritt, Donna Tarvin, all from Ohio, Mary Frye, Newport, KY, brothers; Harlan, Sam, Jesse and Floyd Winkle, all from Ohio, grandchildren; Kaitlin Walker, Gavin Pickett, Kevin Beach, Jamie Beach, Sgt. Lawrence Bradford Jr., Elisha Bradford, William is also survived by nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded by parents; Edward Davis and Elizabeth Mae Frazier Winkle, step- mother; Mary Winkle, sister; Cora Mae Bowers and a brother; Carl Winkle. Mr. Winkle served 2 tours in Vietnam and also served in the Gulf War with the Special Forces. He was retired from the Military.
