Funeral services for Mr. William Everett Wimberley, age 85, of Paris, TN, will be conducted on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM in McEvoy Chapel with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4-8 PM and after 10:00 AM on Saturday.
Everett was married on November 15, 1947 to Flossie Eulalia who survives him.
Everett is also survived by daughters; Joyce Ann Wimberley (Bob) Miles, Catlin, IL, Gail June Wimberley, Des Plaines, IL, grand children; Kyle (Jamie) Liebich, Keri (Bob) Kampwirth, Kasandra (David) Kerber, Chloe-Ann Miles, great-grandchildren; Karsyn Liebich, Kaylin Liebich, nephews; Danny Smith, Paris, TN, Gary Smith, Paris, TN. He is preceded by parents; Elvis O. and Ocie Velma Willoughby Wimberley, sister; Marcie Smith.
Grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers; Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Smith, Gary Smith, Bob Miles, J.C. Williams, and Bob Ellis.
Everett was a retired automotive mechanic with Jasper Auto Parts of Chicago, IL. A veteran of WWII he served with the Army in the Army Corp of Engineers and had received a Bronze Star. He was an active member of Sanders Senior Center and active with the Veterans float in the Worlds Biggest Fish Fry. Everett was a very devoted father, husband, grandfather, and uncle.
